Snow day, Macro and Vintage Cartoons

First off, thank god for the snow day today. I was able to dodge two assessments (1 electronica listening quiz + 1 biomechanics quiz) and laze around pretty much all day in bed while outside looked like this:



I've been playing around with my camera today (the Cannon G7) and I took some macro shots (aka reeeally close up) so here are some of them:






The rest of my day was spent watching cartoons from the 1920s and 1930s (Betty Boop, Mickey Mouse, Popeye, etc.) , and it's insane the topics that were commonplace in the old cartoons. It was completely normal to have characters smoking, racial stereotypes, and brutality.
